The Summer Solstice marks the day we receive the most light from the Sun, when its radiant energy touches everything—awakening life, growth, and infusing us with light codes for transformation.
Today, I invite you to honor this sacred moment by igniting the fire within you: the strength of your heart, the glow in your belly, and the creative lifeforce of your wombspace.
This 1:11 sonic transmission is a sacred journey for women, and for all who feel attuned to the creative essence of the feminine. It offers a chance to ground deeply into your core, and receive from the Sun.
This practice was inspired by a poem I wrote during one of my journeys. I offer it as a meditation in itself, a reminder of the light within you waiting to shine:
“becoming the sun”
take those sun rays and bathe in them, beloved. They are yours.
wrap them around your body — wholly holy.
let them blanket every part of your temple.
simmer in their warmth. they are here for you, beloved. bask in their joy.
let them melt away anything that doesn’t serve you. look inside.
come home to your womb to liberate her. unlock the door to your sacred power, beloved.
wrap her in so much light and love that you become the sun.
shining bright.
timeless.
sun.
Why Womb Meditation?
The womb is more than a physical space—it’s a sacred portal of creation, intuition, and transformation. Whether you hold a womb physically or energetically, this space carries the potential for birthing not only life but also ideas, dreams, and healing. Womb meditation allows us to:
- Awaken creativity: By connecting, we tap into the wellspring of our creative essence.
- Heal and release: It holds memories and emotions that, when gently acknowledged, can be transformed.
- Anchor into power: Grounding in the wombspace connects us to our innate strength, wisdom, and intuition.
The practice of tuning in with the womb as a sacred center is deeply rooted in ancient cultures around the world. From the womb’s connection to the divine feminine in Hindu and Tantric traditions to its reverence in Indigenous Earth-based rituals, the womb has long been seen as a source of creation, power, and intuition.
- In Mesoamerican healing traditions, practices like abdominal massage focus on the energetic and physical health of the womb, often aligning it with the cycles of the moon and the Earth.
- In Taoist philosophy, the womb is part of a woman’s energetic system, with meditations and breathing techniques designed to cultivate vitality and creative energy.
- In African spiritual traditions, the womb is honored as a portal of ancestral wisdom and spiritual connection.
