“Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.” – Henry David Thoreau
Teknomadics.com was started in 2009 by MeghanRae & Lilia, who after meeting through a connection on Couchsurfing.org travelled the world together for nearly 5 years. Their vision was to propagate useful positivity and action steps to catalyze meaningful change; to inspire you to chase your dreams.
Our mission is to promote peace and understanding across cultures by bringing you uplifting, informative, and fun stories from the road. Here you will find showcased people who are BEING the change they want to see in the world.
Along the way, they documented sustainable projects, community based tourism, promoted sustainable living and offered folks a unique look into the lifestyle of the technomad. Their adventures together took them to hidden treasures all over the world, festivals, inspiring gatherings, and to mountain tops to partake in special ceremonies with the native peoples.
While exploring Thailand, Meghan worked as a Teacher Collaborator and Community Outreach volunteer with the Peace Corps, and Lilia worked as a Digital Marketing consultant. They broadcasted their adventures through their Web Series “Technomads Roving Thailand,” where they brought YouTubers along for the ride!
In 2014, Teknomadics piloted a 14-Day Adventure Tour of Thailand with a group of friends based on their experiences with great success.

Hi there. I live in Los Angeles and work as a copywriter in advertising. My husband is in the film industry. We have two dogs and a life in LA, with roots in New York and the Virgin Islands. We just got back from a trip to Costa Rica and are realizing our souls want to rove! My sister told me about technomads living in Thailand, and in googling I came across your site. I couldn’t pass up the chance to reach out. Would love to learn how I might be able to contribute.
