Teknomadics Produces Music Video

Little Daisy music video release!

Last August we took a crew down to Baja California, Mexico, for a whirlwind camping & recording session.  We invited our followers to come along and join us as extras in the video.  We shared some wonderful memories, and now we have a beautiful video to show for it.

We are so excited to share it with you, and introduce you to a dear nomadic musician, Malika Sellami, through her sweet sounds meshed with enchanting images of a place we know & love.

The song, which is a message of self-reflection and growth, was written a few years back when Malika Sellami set out on a healing musical journey along the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez in “Beaux Box” (then her home-on-wheels) learning the language, the landscapes, and the peoples of Southern California and Baja California, Mexico.

The video takes the viewer on a lighthearted and inspired tour of the land that gave voice to the song, featuring favorite local spots in Baja, such as Splash Restaurant, Alisitos Campground, Casita de Erin, Playa de La Mision, and at Sunset Cliffs in San Diego.

“Little Daisy” was produced and directed by Lilia Villa, under Teknomadics Productions.  Other videos to her credit include sustainable travel stories and outreach for GMO labeling.  Cinematography & editing was done by Arthur Woo of NYC.  His other work includes educational videos on recording equipment and nutrition.  The storyboard itself was a co-creation of Lilia Villa, Meghan Rae and Malika Sellami.  It was a beautiful process with sticky notes and color-coded ink as we all did this for the first time.  Co-creation can never be underestimated.  We all received a vision for this project and all of us were right on track.  When we put it all together, and with the editing help of Arthur, we saw materialized something better than we had each envisioned.

We are all proud and happy to release “Little Daisy” video for you, amateurs of joyful music, curious voyageurs and lovers.
