At Teknomadics, we believe that we must traverse our planet in a way that sustains it.
Our goal is to spread the word about Responsible Tour Operators. We want to connect environmentally, socially, and economically responsible travelers with like-minded travel companies – DIRECTLY. We wish to do so as a free service, unlike most online listings – we only direct you to them, so they can be supported.
With that goal in mind, we are preparing for launch of our new responsible travel portal: GoLocal, dedicated to offering a user-friendly and comprehensive listing of tour operators and properties worldwide. We are also developing a volunteer program to provide online marketing support for their own websites.
Working together with these operations by spreading the word and connecting them to travelers, we can help protect the environment, preserve authentic cultural heritage, and promote the social and economic well-being of these local communities.
Please contact us if you wish to be added to our list!

Mexico:
Baja Trek Adventure Tours
Gus the Bus invites you to hop aboard the next adventure powered by recycled vegetable oil, and if you ask for a “Double Rainbow Discount,” they will knock 10% off! Also, 2% of your purchase goes to help the Orphanage projects Baja Trek supports. Why Recycled Alternative Fuels? By using recycled vegetable oil on a converted diesel engine, Baja Trek is able to conduct its tours with zero carbon emissions. On average per year, this translates into 714 barrels of crude oil which didn’t need to be pumped, produced, refined or fought over. >> Visit Website
